Every time I consult with a different company I continually find new ways to use Fusion Marketing and The Safko Wheel. Just recently I was in a Fusion Marketing consulting session with a client of mine and we determined that part of their next year’s marketing plan, they needed to develop five different brochures or one-sheets to aid them in their prospecting. The CEO asked if was asked if The Safko Wheel could help with the development of the one-sheets the client needed to develop. Of course I said sure!
We started with the tool; Brochure (or one-sheet). Place the card One-Sheet in the center of the Wheel. Then, place several of the blank cards around the exterior of the Wheel. Name each card the name or subject matter of each one-sheet. This process gets you to identify each of the different one-sheets you will need to create.
Next, using Fractal Fusion, take one of the cards from the exterior of the Wheel with one of the one-sheet names on it, and place it in the center of the Wheel. Remove the remaining cards with the one-sheet names on them.
Place several blank card around the perimeter of the Wheel and begin asking yourself the questions of what components need to be included on that one-sheet. As an example, you will need a killer “1.54 Second” title and a “5 Second” first sentence (see email marketing in The Social Media Bible).
You will also need to pick an URL; other than your home page. Putting your home page on this specific one-sheet would be the same as you asking me Where in The Fusion Marketing Bible I talk about “Fusion Marketing” and I turn to a page and hand the book back to you point to the Table of Contents; implying; “look it up yourself”. And, we do it ALL of the time by pointing people to our home page.
We will also need your company name, moniker, logo, colors, images, and content. Create a card for each and place it around the perimeter of the Wheel.
At this point you now have all of the design elements to creating a very successful one-sheet or brochure on that service.
Now, take each card, one at a time, and create or identify each of the necessary elements. Actually go and create that one-sheet.
Next… Remove the one-sheet title card from the center of the Wheel and replace it with the next title card and repeat the process. Lastly, by repeating this process for each of the one-sheet title cards, you will have completely designed every one of your one-sheets.
By following this process, you will assure that every brochure is consistent, contain every element necessary, and has encouraged you to think about every element to maximize its effectiveness.
This is the power of Fusion Marketing and The Safko Wheel.
